WESTBOROUGH- Wilfred P. "Lefty" Houde, 83, of Westborough, died on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of the late Helen A. (Isaacson) Houde.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Wilfred J. and Stella (Duchemin) Houde. He was educated in Chicago schools.
During the Korean Conflict he served with the U.S. Army serving in Japan.
Mr. Houde was employed as Fleet Director for Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Needham prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, was an avid baseball fan, enjoyed cooking and was a talented handyman.
He is survived by three daughters, Linda L. England of Nashua, NH, Janet G. Freitas of Franconia, NH and Rene M. Flynn of Marlborough; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services and interment will be private with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough.
