DOROTHY M. BOISVERT


WESTBOROUGH- Dorothy M. Boisvert, 81, formerly of Westborough, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Boisvert. She was also pre deceased by her first husband, Philip A. Taylor, Sr.

Born in Dartmouth, MA she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Souza and was educated in Cambridge schools.

Dorothy worked as a nurse's aide at the Cushing Hospital in Framingham prior to her retirement.

She had been a resident of Westborough for many years and was a former communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Dorothy enjoyed raising her five children in addition to knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, painting, traveling, fishing and golfing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Dorothy leaves many friends at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Franklin, and her family wishes to thank all at the Center for their kindness and care for her over the years spent with her.

She is survived by her four daughters, Beverly Hart and her husband, Edward of Milford, Patty Nixon and her husband, Joe of Hampton, NH, Donna DeCollibus and her companion, Cesar Costa of Riverside, RI and Gail Clark and her husband, Allan of Sugar Hill, NH, two brothers, Ricky Souza of Tewksbury and Billy Souza of Stoneham; one sister, Gail Souza of Worcester; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren

She was the mother of the late Philip A. Taylor, Jr., grandmother of the late Philip A. Taylor, III and great grandmother of the late Hunter May.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 28, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.

A calling hour will be held at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, on Thursday from 9 to 10 A.M. prior to the funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1834, Merrifield, VA 22116-8034 or to a charity of one's choice.
