LAWRENCE F. LASHUA

GRAFTON- Lawrence F. Lashua, 58, of Grafton, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the UMass Memorial Healthcare- Universtity Hospital in Worcester.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Harold and Theresa (Naylor) Hanson Lashua and was educated in Framingham schools.

Mr. Lashua was employed as a truck driver for G & M Landscaping for many years before illness forced him to retire.

He enjoyed NASCAR and summering at the Beach Rose RV Park in Salisbury, where he would lead Karaoke on Saturday nights.

Larry is survived by his devoted partner of 23 years, Kathy A. Flaherty of Grafton, his children, Heidi Lashua of Worcester, Rebecca Sturtevant and her husband, Mark, of Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota and Robert Lashua of Melbourne, FL; one sister, Sally Smith of Westborough; one brother, John Lashua of Framingham; four grandchildren, Samantha, Seth, Natalie and Logan and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Robert Hanson and Arthur Hanson.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough on Friday, February 12 at 9:15 A.M. followed by a graveside funeral service at 10:00 A.M. in the Rural Cemetery, Southborough.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, February 11, from 5 to 8 P.M.
