DONALD MURRAY

WESTBOROUGH- Donald Murray, 61, of Westborough, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at home. He was the husband of the late Maryann (DiPietro) Murray.

Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Earl and Priscilla (Hutchings) Murray. He was educated in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School class of 1967.

During the Vietnam Era, Donald served with the U.S. Air Force for eight years.

Mr. Murray was employed in the maintenance department for the Millis School Department and the Holliston School Department and in later years worked as a Building Manager for The Willows in Westborough.

He was a member of the VFW Post 9013, a former member of the Masonic Lodge and was an avid Patriots Fan.

He is survived by one son, Donald E. Murray and his wife, Shelley of Bellingham; one step daughter, Lisa A. Plante and her husband, Stephen of Shrewsbury; two step sons, Stephen M. Coll and his wife, Kathe of Northborough and William M. Zumpano of W. Boylston; one sister, Dale P. Murray of Salisbury and five grandchildren, Donald Surin Murray, Jonathan Earl Murray, Sarah Plante, Michael Plante and Ryan Zumpano. He is also survived by his devoted friend, Eddie Lutinski, whom the family would like to extend their special thanks.

A graveside funeral service, with military honors, will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Luke's Cemetery, Westborough.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, on Friday, August 13, from 5 to 8 P.M.
