GRAFTON- Charlotte T. McCarthy, 83, died on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the EPOCH Nursing Center in Brookline.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Sponcie) McCarthy. She was a graduate of Jeremiah Burke High School and attended the Hickox Secretarial School in Boston. Ms. McCarthy was employed as an administrative assistant for the Cabot Corporation in Boston for 18 years prior to her retirement. Charlotte was a former communicant of St. John Chrysostom Church in West Roxbury and had previously lived in the Roslindale, Dorchester and Boston area for many years. She is survived by one sister, Mary C. Cunning of Grafton; a nephew, William Cunning and a niece, Mary Costa. She was the aunt of the late Sean and Matthew Cunning. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 4, at 10:30 A.M in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 9 to 10 A.M. prior to the funeral Mass at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough.
