WESTBOROUGH- Daniel Rizzo, 77 of Westborough, died on Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 at Westborough Health Center, surrounded by his loving family. His is survived by his loving wife Theresa (Romeo) Rizzo of 51 years.
Born in Brooklyn,NY he was the son of the late Frank and Elvira Rizzo from Italy. He served with the United States Navy for twenty years and later retired from Digital Equipment Corp. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife and a love of gardening, history and reading.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his three children, Lori Ann Poirier, David Rizzo, and Andrea Rizzo-Moulton and his three grandchildren, Michelle and Reece Poirier and Ryan Moulton. Also nine nieces and nephews and four grand nephews. He also leaves his sister, Frances DeLillo of Florida and his brother, Richard Rizzo of California.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 12, from 5-8pm with a service at 7pm at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Funeral Home. Burial will Thursday, May 13th, at 11:00am at Pine Grove Cemetery following a brief Military Ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the U.S. Navy Memorial;
