Jane P. Smith

Jane P. Smith, 86, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Richard B. Smith who died in 2013.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Mason) Mullen. She was educated in Westborough schools and was a lifelong resident of Westborough.

Jane was employed as an office clerk for Suburban Temps in Westborough for many years prior to her retirement.

She and her late husband enjoyed dealing in antiques and she also enjoyed gardening.

Jane is survived by two sons, Kenneth B. Smith and his wife, Wendy, of Greeley, CO and John P. Smith and his wife, Lisa, of Westborough; two brothers, Kenneth Mullen of CA and Peter Mullen of MA; two sisters, Miriam Nigro of Reading and Linda Rogers of CO; three grandchildren, Jason Smith, Joshua Smith and Becky Smith and six great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, at 11:00 A.M. in the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
