Marian D. Whitcomb

Marian D. Whitcomb, 93, of Westborough, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Eddy Pond West Assisted Living Community in Auburn. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Whitcomb.

Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ada (Wandell) Disbro. She was educated in Binghamton schools and was a graduate of North High School.

Marian worked as an office manager for Carlson Daniel Insurance prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Methodist Women, the Quilters Group and the Afterglow Group.

Marian is survived by two children, Priscilla W. Harvey of Westborough and Thomas W. Whitcomb and his wife, Joanne, of Oro Valley, AZ; four grandchildren, Amy Frissore, Alison Ridings, Joshua Harvey and Emily Harvey and three great-grandchildren, Alex and Eliza Frissore and Gianna Harvey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, on Friday, September 30, from 4 to 7 P.M.

A private graveside service will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
