Michael J. Cole

Michael J. Cole, 31, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, November 5, 2016.

Born in Worcester, he is the son of Taryn J. (MacKenzie) Ouellette of Marlborough and John E. Cole of Prosperity, PA. and was educated in Westborough schools. He joined the U.S Army where he served as a marksman and received the Terrorism Preparedness Award

Michael was employed as a landscaper for Lynch Landscaping and Tree Service in Sudbury. He enjoyed weightlifting and all things fitness related. He also enjoyed fishing, all-terrain vehicles and was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving partner, Brittany Carter; six siblings, Marie Petkiewich, James Cole, John Cole, Angela Ross, Trini Cole and Matthew Cole; maternal grandmother, Christine MacKenzie; uncle and aunt, Charlie, Jr. and Andrea MacKenzie, uncle Shawn MacKenzie, aunt and uncle Tawnya and Eric Johnson; step-father, George Ouellette; best friend, Tony Murgo, mentor, Cliff Newton; one niece, Alayna; two nephews, Jackson and Jameson and many other special aunts, uncles and cousins in MA, PA and CT.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charlie MacKenzie, Sr. and grandparents, Pappap and Kate Cole.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, at 10:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours at the David Pickering Westborough funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Friday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 7 P.M.
