WESTBOROUGH- Virginia Nenni Davis, beloved wife of 56 years of Claud M. Davis, passed away December 15, 2012, with her family at her side.
Born in Arlington, NY (now Town of Poughkeepsie) February 12, 1921, to Amalia (DiGennaro) and Finislao Nenni. Sister of Filbert Nenni (deceased) and Margherite Beck (deceased). Mother of Stephanie Davis Deitzer (Jim) of Boston, MA and Claud P. Davis (Rebecca) of Southborough, MA, and Grandmother to their children Jennifer Lauren, Claud Matthew, and Thomas Michael.
1939 graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and the Wood-Purinton School of Business, Mrs. Davis worked at DeLaval Separator Company and had a career as Executive Assistant to the Site Controller of IBM Poughkeepsie and, after her children were grown, to the Assistant Dean of Students at Dutchess Community College.
Calling hours are Tuesday, December 18, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough, MA.
Services at the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough are Wednesday, December 19, 10:00 A.M., reception following.
Interment service will take place on Thursday, December 20, at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at 12 Noon followed by a reception at the Italian Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 120 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581
