Dean Robert Heusel

Wilmington, NC resident, Dean Robert Heusel, passed peacefully Wednesday, September 12, 2012 with his family surrounding him. Born Dec. 13, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, he held a degree in Business from UMKC and started Heusel and Daughters Construction in Alaska, where he met his wife, Shirley. He built super-insulated homes before moving to Boston in 1987, where he started LaserCartridge Plus, now, Page After Page. Dean loved woodworking, the great outdoors, kayaking and golf, which he enjoyed greatly throughout his life. Dean is survived by his wife, Shirley of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Sarah and her husband Mike Voss of Concord, NH; daughter, Jenna Marcum and two granddaughters of Wilmington, NC; his parents, Bob and Lucille Heusel of Prairie Village, KS; his brother, Mark of Madison, MS; nieces, nephews and two grandnephews. Celebration of Life Services will be held in the Rural Cemetery Chapel in Worcester, MA on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM, and in the Kenan Chapel in Wilmington, NC on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at 3 P.M for family and friends.
