Catherine E. Ward

Catherine E. Ward, 87, of Westborough, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester.

Born in Westborough she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Haven) Ward. She was raised and educated in Westborough and was a graduate of Westborough High School.

Catherine was employed as a secretary at Wilson Meat Packing Company and then for St. Johnsbury Trucking prior to her retirement.

She has been a lifelong resident of Westborough and loved horses and dogs.

She is survived by one brother, Walter H. Ward and his wife, Linda, of Shrewsbury, a sister-in-law, Francine Ward of Sterling and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Virginia Ward, Albert Ward, and Francis Ward.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 10:30 A.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

A calling hour will precede the service from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
