I met Al about seven years ago. We would enjoy a few libations and blab about history and some politics. The best things were trading off Shotgun News and The NRA Rifleman magazines. Same thing, back in 1975 with my High School Buddies-trading off car magazines. I would buy some junky pistol and refurbish it- Al was really impressed, and encouraged my Russian Red wood stain! Men will always be boys! Sure will miss Al.

I met Al about seven years ago-we always had a certain mind set. We would swap out Shot Gun News magazines with American Rifleman. As about 1975-I would swap Road and Track etc. with my High School buddy. I would pick up some junky pistols or rifles for refurbishment. Al always got a kick out of my somewhat errant way of refurbishment. You sure have that Russian Red! Yes, Al-and I will enjoy more arguments to come. Best Wishes , Jeff B.
