Gary E. Tenczar

WESTBOROUGH- Gary E. Tenczar, 69, of Westborough, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was the husband of Maureen T. (Qua) Tenczar.

Born in Northampton, MA, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Zalenski) Jurczeyski and was educated in Northampton schools. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earning a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Business.

Gary was employed as the Purchasing Director for Wyman-Gordon for over 25 years prior to his retirement.

He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, an avid golfer and a former member of the Westborough Country Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Jed A. Tenczar of New Bedford; one daughter, Ashley E. Tenczar Curran and her husband, Peter, of Jamaica Plain; one grandson, Damien Hughes, whom Gary and Maureen have raised, and one granddaughter, Rheanna Tenczar; one sister, Deborah O’Brien and her husband, John, of Cromwell, CT; his mother in law, Ellen Qua of Northampton; a brother in law, John Qua and his wife, Suzanne Schutte, of Darien, CT; one niece and three nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. There are no calling hours.
