Peter J. Farland

Peter J. Farland, 57, of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 27, 2017 at home. He was the husband of the late Susan H. (Schwer) Farland.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Czechowski) Farland. He was raised and educated in Westborough and was a graduate of Westborough High School.

Peter was employed in the maintenance department at County Heat Treat in Millbury.

He also proudly worked alongside Tom Dwyer at Process Heating Co. For over twenty years, a man who he considered to be like a brother.

He is survived by two children, Nicole Farland of Boston and Tyler Farland of Worcester. He was the brother of the late David, Paul, Michael and Michelle Farland.

He was a devoted and skilled tradesman and a loving husband and father.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Hopkinton Rd., Westborough. There are no calling hours.
