Robert A. Knight

Robert A. Knight, 80, of Westborough, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of the late Carolyn F. (Dalton) Knight who died in November.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Charles and Ella (Baldwin) Knight.  He graduated from Framingham High School and Worcester Industrial Technical Institute.  Robert served with the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962, attaining the rank of MM3. He was a carpenter by trade and worked in facilities for Data General and EMC.

He was a member of the Civic Club, Council On Aging, and a member of the Bay Path Elders Board. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, spending time in Maine and with his family and grandchildren and has been a resident of Westborough for 53 years.

Robert is survived by three children, Christopher S. Knight and his wife, Heather, of Shrewsbury, Eric R. Knight of Westborough and Elizabeth A. Felton and her husband, Danny, of Westborough and four grandchildren, Benjamin and Madison Knight and Hunter and Brooke Felton.

A memorial service will be held between 11:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 6, at The Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd., Shrewsbury, MA
