Robert J. Sieger

Robert J. Sieger, 77, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Phyllis E. (Love) Sieger.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Clarence J. and Marion (Ries) Sieger. He was educated in Chicago and Florida schools and attended the University of Miami. He also served with the U.S. Army during peacetime.

Robert was employed as the New England district sales manager for Ortho Lawn and Garden for many years prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed model railroads and fly fishing and has been a resident of Westborough since 1981.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Kelly A. Swindell and her husband, Eric, of Austin, TX and Keith A. Sieger and his wife, Sonia, of Gloucester; a brother in law and sister in law, Herschel and Nancy Love of PA; three grandchildren, Darren Sieger, Dean Sieger and Kaelyn Sieger; three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Brody and Jasmyne and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering is scheduled at a later time. The family may be reached at home.
