WESTBOROUGH- Roselyn C. “Sis” O’Neil, 94, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Westborough with loved ones and devoted staff by her side. She was the wife of the late Edward X. O’Neil.

Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (McNeil) Lilly. She was educated in Westborough schools and was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She was also a graduate of the South Middlesex Secretarial School in Framingham.

Sis worked as a purchasing agent for Bay State Abrasives and then in the Probation Office at the Westborough District Court prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, a member of the Women of St. Luke’s and St. Luke’s Senior Adults.

She was a lifelong resident of Westborough and was devoted to her entire family as well as her lifelong friends.

Sis is survived by her daughter, Jane D. O’Neil of Westborough and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Agnes (Lilly) O’Neil.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, at 10:00 A. M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

Calling hours at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough, are Friday, January 25, from 4 to 7 P.M.
