Shirley M. (Ensley) Brady

Shirley M. Brady, 86, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was the beloved wife of Edward “Ted” N. Brady. 

Born in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of late Harold and Hilda (Roberts) Ensley.  She was raised and educated in Dundee, NY. 

Mrs. Brady was a switchboard operator at Fallon Clinic for many years before her retirement.  She was also an active member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Westborough.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling especially to White Lake in White Lake, Canada.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Marsha Lyon of San Diego, CA, Gregory Lyon of Houston, TX, Robert Lyon of Avoca, NY, Michelle Cornaire of Bath, NY, Lisa Lyon of Morrisonville, NY, and two stepchildren, Gerald Brady of Shrewsbury, MA, and Joseph Brady of Grafton, MA.  She also leaves eight grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was the stepmother of the late Donna Brady Wright and Steven Brady.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 20, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3 John St., Westborough.  There are no calling hours.

Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson, MA, will take place at the convenience of her family.
