Dale W. Bent

Dale W. Bent, long time resident of Grafton, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2026, at age 72 due to complications following a stroke.

Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Charles and Betty (Wheeler) Bent. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School.

Dale was employed as a formulation technician for Bay State Abrasives for 30 years. He was a sci-fi fan, enjoyed computer games, and a whiz at electronics.

Dale is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda J. (Baxendale) Bent, their sons; James Bent, Christopher Bent and his wife Denise, and two grandchildren. He also leaves his sisters; Brenda Suchovshy of Florida, Cindy and her husband David Chandler of Worcester, plus nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Wayne.

On Friday, July 17, 2026, 9:00 AM there will be a Mass at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main Street, Westborough, MA, followed by a celebration of life gathering in the parish center, 1 Ruggles Street, Westborough, MA.
