Hedwig E. Lagemann

Hedwig E. Lagemann, 102, of Westborough, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Harold Lagemann.

Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and Ida (Bierhals) Zimmer. She was raised and educated in the Bronx.

Hedwig was employed as a proofreader at American Bank Note in the Bronx prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the Elks Lodge Does and resided in Titusville, FL, for many years.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Paul George of Westborough; brother-in-law Frank Weikman; two grandsons, Christopher George and David George and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Matthew George.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 12 to 4 P.M. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St., Westborough.
