Helen R. Remian, 92, of Westborough, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 18, 2026, at UMass Memorial Healthcare/University Hospital in Worcester.

Born in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late John and Adeline (Tremblay) Partlow and was raised and educated in Charlton.

Helen was a woman of incredible strength, independence, and determination. She worked hard throughout her life, first for many years as a cutter for Chase Paper and later as a cafeteria worker for the Westborough Public Schools. She took pride in doing things for herself, spoke her mind, and faced life with resilience and grit, and liked things done right.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, bird watching, and keeping her mind sharp. She valued simple pleasures, hard work, and family, and she left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Over the years, Helen also quietly supported many charities and causes that were important to her, always believing in helping others where she could.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. Taylor of Harmony, ME; her son, Jon P. Remian of Garland, ME; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and generations of family who will remember her strength, stubborn spirit, humor, and love.

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Remian.

Funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
