Judith Allen passed away on May 6, 2025, at New Horizons of Marlborough. She was born on March 8, 1944, in Marlboro, Massachusetts, to John G. Allen and Dorothy Foss Allen. Judith was the youngest of four siblings, joining her brothers and sisters—Peter, Marion, Bill, and Sally Ann—in a family that valued connection and love.
Judith's early years were spent nurturing her passion for helping others, leading her to pursue a career in nursing. After graduating from nursing school, with compassion as her guiding principle, she dedicated herself to caring for those in need within her local community. Later in life, Judith embraced a new path, transitioning into massage therapy, where she continued to bring comfort and healing to many.
Throughout her life, Judith enjoyed a variety of pursuits that brought joy to her days. She had a notable fondness for cats, often finding companionship in her furry friends. Her love for Cape Cod also shone brightly, as she cherished the time spent in its serene landscapes. An avid knitter, Judith poured creativity into her craft, creating unique pieces that were a testament to her patience and artistic spirit. Additionally, she was a devoted reader, with a particular fondness for mystery novels, immersing herself in the twists and turns of captivating stories.
Judith was predeceased by three of her children, Paula Taylor Whynot of Aruba, Lisa Taylor Flanders of Lakeland, Florida and Matthew Taylor of Upton, MA. She is survived by her three other children, Dave Taylor of Manchester, NH, Jeff Taylor of Hudson, MA and Alison Taylor Dolder of Battle Ground, WA. She leaves five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Judith Allen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and creativity that will continue to inspire.
