Karen S. Walden Berry, 69, of Westborough, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital, Worcester. She was the wife of the late Scott Berry.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late William G. Walden and Beatrice D. (Beaudry) Walden. She was educated in Westborough schools and was a 1963 graduate of Westborough High School. Following high school she attended the Salter Secretarial School.
Karen was employed as a secretary for Bay State Abrasives for many years and most recently owned her own business, Words On Wheels, a medical transcription company, prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed antiques, shopping, her home in Avon, NJ and her beloved dogs, Murray, Oliver and Tucker.
Karen is survived by one brother, John M. Walden of Westborough; two sisters, Mary A. Wadsworth and her husband, Dennis, of Westborough and Deborah T. Keyes of Northborough; a brother-in-law, Dennis Fenton and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sandra Fenton.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 10, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in St. Luke’s Cemetery will be at a later date. There are no calling hours.
