Kathleen M. Cardoza

Kathleen Mary (Hayes) Cardoza, age 74, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025.

Kathleen was born on September 16, 1951, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to the late Bernard and Mary Hayes. She grew up in Westborough, MA, where she attended local schools and graduated from Westborough High School, class of 1969. She later made her home in Shrewsbury, where she lived for the majority of her adult life and built lasting friendships and memories.

Kathleen enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, first as office manager for Duddie Ford company, then as a partner with Quality Catering and later with Lexus of Northborough. Through her work, she formed many meaningful relationships and was well known for her warmth, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Above all else, Kathleen treasured her family. While she enjoyed spending time with her many friends, nothing brought her greater joy than family gatherings, celebrations, and parties, where her love for bringing people together truly shined.

Kathleen is survived by her loving children, Renee Cardoza of Enfield, CT, and Michael Cardoza and Lisa Cardoza of Boxford, MA. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Alexia DaSilva, Neila DaSilva, Kaden Cardoza and Jax Cardoza.

She is also survived by her siblings, John Hayes, Marty Hayes, and Regina Bonofiglio, along with her niece and several nephews and other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Mary Hayes, her brother James Hayes, and her longtime partner Frank Taylor.

Kathleen will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of family, and the many friendships she nurtured throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main Street, Westborough.  Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery.
