Margaret A. Christensen

Margaret A. Christensen, 91, of Westborough, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Christensen.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Tarpey) Waldron. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Christians School in Newton.

Margaret was employed as a Resource Specialist for New England Telephone prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church where she served the parish as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also an active member of the Westborough Senior Center.

She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Hampton Beach with her children and grandchildren and playing the organ.

Margaret is survived by four children, Deborah Mangan of Dover, Kathleen Christensen of Grafton, Karen Mooney and her husband, Peter, of Franklin and Erik Christensen and his wife, Heidi Weber, of Chatsworth, CA; one sister, Theresa Welch of Nashua, NH and five grandchildren, Michael and Kelly Judge, Kyle and Kassandra Mangan and Mark Mooney.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Katelyn Mooney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Monday, June 15, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

There are no calling hours.
