Norma A. Thompson

Norma A. Thompson, 93, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late John R. Thompson.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Miller) Wentworth. She was raised and educated in Southborough and attended and graduated from Anna Maria College in Paxton, with a degree in Art History.

Norma was employed as a Purchasing Agent for the Town of Southborough prior to her retirement.

She was a member of The Congregational Church of Westborough and enjoyed traveling having visited 40 countries and all 50 states. She and her husband visited all the Presidential Libraries in the United States. She was an artist and painter, and owned her own dressmaking shop in Westborough in the 1970’s.

She is survived by her family, Robert D. “Toby” Thompson and his husband, Paul E. Hogan, Ann C. Holm and her husband, Joseph, and their children, Rachel Drane and her husband, Joshua, and Dylan Holm and his partner, Bethany Ingram, Linda Maneen and her husband, Joseph Maneen, Jr. and their children, Kaylee Maneen, and Joseph Maneen, III. She is also survived a sister, Carol Doyle.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jean DeZarn.

Private graveside services will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough.
