Patricia A. Muldoon

Patricia A. Muldoon, 90, of Westborough passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester. She was the wife of the late James W. Muldoon, with whom she shared almost 60 years of marriage.

Born in Boston, she was raised by her foster mother Hattie Preble in Newton, where she graduated from Newton North High School in 1953. In 1955 she married the love of her life, James Muldoon. Together they raised four children, first in Southboro and then in Westboro (with one unfortunate year in Indiana), eventually retiring to Sandwich, where she opened an antique and collectibles shop.

Patricia began her career as a telephone switchboard operator and was later employed for many years as a clerk at Framingham Union Hospital prior to moving to Cape Cod, where she continued working at local hospitals.  A woman of strong faith, she was a longtime member of The Congregational Church of Westborough and enjoyed antiquing, crafting and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by four children, Steven Muldoon of Lancaster, Dana Muldoon of Belmont, Lisa Muldoon of East Brookfield and Jennifer Muldoon and her husband, Michael DeBonis, of Moretown, VT, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.  

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 A.M. at The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough.  Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private.
