Richard King

Richard King, 85, of Grafton, died on November 3, 2026 after a short illness. He was born in Caswell, Maine, the oldest son of Edmund and Eva King of Limestone, Maine.

Richard was employed at Saxonville Realty Trust as a general contractor for many years.

Richard is survived by his three children: Richie King and his husband Luis Alvarez of Ft Lauderdale FL, Tina Sontag and her husband Andy of West Boylston MA and Tammy Carmichael and her husband Dennis of Gardner MA. He is also survived by the following: His son-in-law Javier Calvillo of Fitchburg MA, his sister Diane Woodfin of Marietta, GA and his sister Shirley King of Limestone, ME, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Pauline (Stochaj) King, his daughter Peggy Sue Calvillo, his sister Thersea and his brother Norman.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 10th, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main Street, Westborough. Burial will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery. All are welcome.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday November 9 from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough, MA.
