William L. Dubey

August 7, 1928 — March 15, 2024

WESTBOROUGH

William L. “Bill” Dubey, formerly of Westborough Mayberry Place Apartments passed away peacefully in Beaumont at the Willows on March 15, 2024.

A native of Grafton, MA, Bill was born on August 7, 1928 to Louis and Eliza (Denault) Dubey.  As a young man, Bill studied music and played clarinet with a polka band performing in and around the New England area.

He was a proud member of the United States Army during the Korean War and a loyal member of the Masons Franklin Lodge, A.F. & A.M.  in Grafton since 1950.  Gentle, kind-hearted and hard-working, Bill fulfilled two careers following his honorable Army discharge – first with Reed & Prince Mfg. Co. and then with Stop & Shop, finally retiring from the Westborough store location.

He is the last of his family, but leaves behind many friends and well-wishers.

Bill will certainly be missed but will be laid to rest with fellow Veterans in the Veterans Grove Section of Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough, in a private graveside ceremony.
