In April of '87, I began my brief postal career as a clerk in the Marlborough office. David was regarded highly there. His wit served him greatly as irreverent humor circulated through our ranks with air that we breathed - but was playfulness - there was nothing malicious in it. Dave had a tradition, on Christmas eve would visit friends wholly unannounced. My family loved him, was always welcome in our home! I transferred to another office in October of' '88, we lost contact, as happens, and it so grieves me to learn of his untimely departure. God bless you, David Kelley! I remember you today - wish you God speed. Save a seat for me, sir, I'll be along presently!

Dave, I'll always remember the fun we had playing hockey when we were young. Although our lives took different paths as we got older, I've never forgotten those great times! Thank you for being my friend.
