Eugene "Bud" Hyland
Obituary
Eugene “Bud” Hyland, 88, passed away peacefully at home with his daughter on January 21, 2023. He leaves his daughter Traci Hyland of Westborough who was his 24/7 caregiver. Another daughter, Christine Grubidge of Mashpee. He leaves three grandsons, Dylan Castell, Brandon Gribidge and Jarod Castell and three great-grandsons. Bud was predeceased by his wife Shirley Hyland in 1995.
Bud worked for the Westborough DPW for 45 years, retiring in 2005. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, never missing a baseball or hockey game.
There are no calling hours or funeral service. The family will have a graveside service for family only.
In lieu of flowers, Bud would like donations made to the Westborough Fire/Ambulance Gift Fund in his name. We can never thank the Westborough Fire/Ambulance enough for all they did for us.
