Francis E. Ryan

Frank entered into eternal life August 16th after years of declining health, he was 64.  He is survived by his siblings; Barbara Peirce (Jeff) of TN, Pat Duffy (Doris) and Kathleen Ozella (Tony) of Dennis, Kenneth Burnett of Medway, Bill Richardson (Janet) of Northbridge. Nieces Maria, Andrea, Tara, and Alicia (Goddaughter) and nephews Matthew, Kevin (Godson), and Patrick.  He is predeceased by parents James Ryan Sr and Jeanne (Dugan), stepfather Richard Duffy Sr, his siblings Jimmy, Michael, Bonnie, Kevin, and niece Vanessa.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Westboro, attended the public schools and St. Mary’s in Milford. He was an honest, hardworking man.  He was employed at the former Dana Films in Westboro for many years before retiring for health reasons.  He was always ready with a joke and was a regular at the local VFW Post.  He loved fishing and playing pool.  In his younger days he owned a boat and one of his favorite activities was taking it out on Lake Chauncy.  He enjoyed watching old Gun Smoke reruns on tv.  He liked listening to 70‘s classic rock and was especially a fan of Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac.  He loved fireworks and the 4th of July was his favorite holiday. He was a loyal son, brother, and friend.  He will be greatly missed by all.

His funeral service will be on Saturday, August 21, at 11:00 A.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery.

A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
