Jeannette G. Galipeau

Jeannette G. Galipeau, 92, of Westborough, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Galipeau.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Olier and Blanche (St. Denis) Baril. She was educated in Worcester and was a graduate of Holy Name High School. She also attended and graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing.

Jeannette worked as a registered nurse in the OB/GYN Department at St. Vincent Hospital for 36 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid gardener with a great green thumb.

She was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Grafton and has been a resident of Westborough since 1968.

Jeannette is survived by her four children, Denise Williams and her husband, Wayne Kingston, Paul Galipeau and his wife, Elizabeth, Christine Conway and her husband, Robert, and Brian Galipeau and his wife, Lisa; five grandchildren and six great-granddaughters, three brothers, Paul Baril, David Baril and Raymond Baril; and four sisters, Jeanne Moran, Elaine Richard, Madeleine Haluska and Estelle Paquette.

She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Proulx and her brother, Olier Baril, Jr.

Funeral services and interment in Pine Grove Cemetery are private.
