Judith McCabe Obituary

Judith K. McCabe, 75, of Westborough, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward Thomas McCabe, Jr.

Born in Fitchburg, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Norma (Muir) Schlott. She was educated in Fitchburg and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School.

Judy along with her husband operated the former Red Barn and Tom Foolery’s in Westborough.

Her life was full of adventure, travelling all around the world with her husband, dear friends, and family. Surfing, water skiing, coaching Red Devils youth cheerleading, snow skiing, and entertaining by the pool, were a few of the many activities she enjoyed fully.

She was a dedicated mother who loved her family, and always put others before herself.

She is survived by two children, Sean K. McCabe and his wife, Eliana, of Westborough and Tara A. McCabe of Key West, Florida; one brother, Edward Schlott of Ashburnham; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, November 26, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.

A graveside service will follow at 1:30 P.M. in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Hopkinton Rd., Westborough.
