Retiring in 1996, Larry went to work part-time at Julio’s Liquor Store in Westborough, MA.  He joined and played golf at Westborough Country Club.  At this time, he organized the Knights of Columbus Charity Golf Tournament.  Wanting to play more golf, he moved and purchased a mobile home in Bradenton, Florida.  Since moving to Florida, he would take one and sometimes two Caribbean cruises a year and was an avid reader.
