Obituary
Margaret M. Taylor (Sonny), 85, of Westborough, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was the wife of the late John T. Taylor, Jr.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Hyland) Matejko and was raised and educated in Westborough.
Margaret was the owner of Sonny’s Custom Sewing for 49 years prior to her retirement and was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church.
She is survived by three children, Jodi A. Taylor of Holden, Kelly M. Taylor of Grafton and Jamie Taylor of Westborough; one brother Michael Matejko of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Janet Antul of Worcester, Joan Graham of Clinton and Betty Taylor of Leicester; three grandchildren, Nicholas Peters, Jillian Schnare and John Clemmey and nine great-grandchildren
She was the mother of the late John Thomas Taylor, III and Kathleen Peters, grandmother of the late Jason Taylor and sister of the late Richard Matejko and Linda Cook.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 5 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Hopkinton Rd., Westborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452
