It is very nice to see all the wonderful comments from fellow MatrixOne employees. I too worked at MatrixOne for many years and Mark was a great leader and someone who cared and listened to everyone. I remember so many examples of him leading by example and looking out for people no matter your job title etc. I miss that very much and I share in everyone's sorrow.

I was so saddened to hear of Mark's passing. Mark's enthusiasm, kindness and vision were one of the main reasons we partnered with SAVO in 2011. More importantly, he was one of the most approachable and likable CEOs I have ever met. It's no wonder that so many have flourished under his leadership. His legacy will be all the people he impacted in both his personal and professional life that will carry on his passion for life, his values and his beliefs. My condolences to his friends and family.

I worked many years with Mark as a French early employee of MatrixOne.
Mark was an outstanding leader and role model for all of us. He was dedicated to people, always trying to help everyone to grow, a real gentleman.

As our kids grew up with yours, we remember he was always around every one of the kids events that he could be, always with his camera, and always so great, warm, and encouraging with the kids……and everyone else he’d bump into.
