Nancy L Pond

Nancy L. Pond, 71, of Westborough, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Pond.

Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late George Haskell and Selma Jean (Dingwell) Haskell-Erickson. She was raised and educated in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School.

Nancy was a self-employed accountant providing accounting services. She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved her grand pups.

She is survived by one daughter, Caitlin Jaeger and her husband, James, of N. Grafton; her sisters, Cynthia Haskell of Westborough and Janice Dreyfus and her husband, William, of Webster, Debbie Mackinnon and her husband, Dan, of East Hampton, NJ and Denise MacDonald of Sunapee, NH; a brother-in-law, Dick Bliss of Westborough and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Maureen Bliss.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Interment will be private.

Calling hours at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Tuesday, November 2, from 5 to 7 P.M.
