So sorry to learn of Richard's passing. As a co-worker of his with the Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility, Philadelphia Detachment, he was a great support to me in my work. I truly appreciated his guidance and advise as well as his technical expertise in the area of textiles. May he rest in peace.

Even though many miles separate us, we are so glad that we have been able to keep in contact since meeting on the National Parks tour. Since then, the tour you both gave us of Boston and Plymouth Rock plus meeting up for lunch in Salem years later are memories that will always be special to us.
