Terrance Tripp Obituary
Terrance B. Tripp, 86, of Westboro, MA, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of 68 years to his college sweetheart, Eugenia (Murray) Tripp.
Dr. Tripp was born in Hollis, Maine, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Iva (Usher) Tripp. He was raised in Saco, Maine and earned his bachelor, master’s, and PhD from the University of Maine.
Dr. Tripp was a chemist and had been employed at Sprague Electric Co. in N. Adams, MA and at H. C. Stark in Newton, MA. He was also a professor of Chemistry and Chair of the Math-Science Department at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
He was a member of Siloam Lodge AF & AM in Westboro and of the Saco Lodge #9 AF & AM in Saco, Maine.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Valarie Tripp Pettengill of Milford, NH, and Terrance Daniel Tripp of Wells, ME: one sister, Jacqueline Tripp Littlefield of Saco, ME and one grandson, Nicholas Daniel Bagley of Milford, NH
