Oh Irene, you will be missed! I much appreciated your energy and commitment to veterans (so glad you're in uniform!) and now have read about all the interesting things you did in a very full life! Wonderful!
Peace.

Laura, Lisa, Patty, and the Tibert family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I always enjoyed talking with Irene when I would run into her around town or when she had something she wanted to share with the Historical Society. She always had a great perspective on things and I will remember her kindness and grace.

It is with heartfelt sadness that Judy and I face Irene's passing. We extend our most sincere condolences to her husband, Dick, to her daughters and to their families.

Irene came into our lives shortly before she and Dick were married and has been a significant part of our lives ever since. We will remember her zest for life, her caring and compassion for those around her, and the way she would focus her attention on you, when you had something to say.

But most of all, we will remember and be thankful for the love and the joy that she brought back into the life of our brother and brother-in-law, Dick.

Fare well, Irene

Farewell great lady. The friendship between you and my mother always inspired me--lasting through so many phases of life, always supportive and full of laughs. I will hold on to your beautiful smile and many kind words. You will be missed. All my love to your daughters. We all share in your sorrow.

Goodbye, Irene, my open-hearted, caring and compassionate "bonus" Mom who made a delightful impression in my life. You taught me to look at more than one side of things and to broaden my mind. With a smile, I will remember your special dessert request to puzzled wait staff for a parfait. Love always.
