Tom, Bob, Mary Lou, ALL of Lisa's friends and loved ones and ESPECIALLY to her nephew Rory. You were SO special to her and I know that you helped her through some very tough times. At first Lisa started out as my neighbor, but it wasn't long after we met, she introduced me to someone as her 'friend'. That's when I knew, we had become friends even though I was 21 years older than her. We had some fun trips to Uhlman's Ice Cream, Kohl's, Home Goods, etc. We didn't talk about her cancer. We just had fun like 2 girlfriends. I will miss those times.

When I got my new puppy, 'Autumn Marie' in 2004, Lisa was one of the first to see her. From that day forward Autumn went CRAZY every time she saw Lisa. She loved her so much. I will always remember how Lisa rarely called Autumn by her name. She affectionately called her 'Miss Marie'. It always made me chuckle.

Tom, Lisa was very fortunate to have such a warm, loving husband as you. You were there for her every step of the way on her cancer journey. Mary Lou and Bob, you were wonderful parents and she loved you both dearly. Michele G., she loved you too.

My heart aches for Lisa's family and friends and for her 2 dogs, Lucy and P'nut. Especially P'Nut. He was such a 'Momma's Boy'. But I am glad for Lisa that she is no longer in pain and she has gone home to be with the Lord. I hope to see her again someday.

My thoughts and prayers are with ALL of those who loved Lisa.

God Bless.

Marilyn Leffler and 'Miss Marie. xo xo xo

I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. May the God of all comfort sustain you as you await the promises found at John 5:28,29 and Rev.21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death here on the earth forever.(Psalm 37:29) It is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family at this time.
