I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Consider Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

In life we have the opportunity everyday to be enlightened, encouraged, directed, led by example and all these can change, mold and enrich our lives. One man who has done that for me has been my Uncle Mickey/Godfather, best friend and superhero. From the first moment he held me in his arms he never let go. Uncle Mickey has been a constant support in every aspect of my life from childhood to adulthood. He is a true example of what an ANGEL ON EARTH is because he was one of mine. Even though he was my uncle, which is special in itself, his role as Godfather he took very seriously. How blessed am I to have two wonderful Dad's and both being superheroes.
So now my precious Uncle Mickey has dawned his wings again and joined his wife, Auntie Alice and all our family members in the peace and joy of the heavens. All my love xoxo

Dear Dad: A bright light has passed from this world to the heavens. You gave all you had and we all love you for that. I know that you are rejoicing with your Savior and Mom and the Great Cloud of Witnesses that have passed before you. I can see them welcoming you and also rejoicing.
