I will truly miss Sharrie's laughter, Irish humor and wit. She loved and talked about her family so dearly, which made me feel privileged to hear these stories and treasured memories; despite the pain from chemo treatments at Charles River, and the 'Big C' that ravages too many lives. Every time I see a Tootsie Roll, I will think of Sharrie's smile that this was her treat when chemo was over on that day of endless drips. She was a real trooper throughout this grueling ordeal, and an inspiration not to give up until that last curtain call...the power of a loving husband, and tremendous family gave her such stamina, not to let go...and of course, Frosty (her dog, stayed faithfully by her side, keeping protection and affection alive) and Falmouth, Cape Cod, too! I loved our day road trip there, off-season, making certain it was still intact, and the tax bill was mailed to good Ol' Westborough...
