I have veterans plates on my car' so I guess I was chosen for one of the acts of kindness. I am not a vet, but my husband, Phil did during the Korean war ,( Army )and my daughter served in the Vietnam era;. ( USAF). I brought the letter home and gave it to a Vietnam vet who was sitting outdoors by himself, I live in an elderly complex, and he was so grateful. I thank whomever left the letter with the gifts in them from the botton of my heart. He must have been a wonderful man. Linnea

We were saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great friend and lake neighbor for many years. We will miss seeing him at the lake functions and on his walks on the lake road. Our deepest sympathies to his wonderful family.

Mr. Bleakney was a great man and it was such a pleasure to know him especially since his lovely daughter Amy and I were in the same class together. May Mr. Bleakney Rest in Peace.

I'm sorry for your loss. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. Revelation 21:4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” John 5:28, 29: Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

Kathy and Family - me deepest condolences go out to you all - It is truly amazing when I read the obituary how loved he was and how many years he and your mom were married. That is an unbelievable achievement these days. I loved hearing you talk about going to camp and how the family all came together. You are in my thoughts and I know this is a difficult time for everyone.
